Sedona. It's
where we live.
To us, Sedona
is one of the most beautiful places on earth. Most visitors
agree as they are mesmerized by the towering red rock
monuments as well as the cottonwoods, sycamores and pines that
gather around Oak Creek. Sedona is located at the foot of the
incredibly beautiful Oak Creek Canyon named for the creek that
winds through it and the city itself. Towering high above
Sedona and its canyon is the Mogollon Rim. The Mogollon Rim
forms the southwestern boundary of the vast Colorado Plateau.
Sedona itself is part of the Coconino National Forest.
The terrain of
Sedona is a little reminiscent of the incredible Grand Canyon.
No small wonder since that magnificent scenic monument is
located only a short distance away. The charm of Sedona is
that you can conveniently spend a day hiking, horseback
riding, or exploring the numerous trails and dirt roads that
crisscross the area by jeep tour, and then enjoy the comfort
of deluxe hotels, prestigious resorts and country inns at
night. In addition you can visit the many unique shops,
impressive art galleries and fine restaurants.
Of these,
Ken's Creekside is especially noteworthy not only for its
delightful ambiance and exquisite menu offerings but also for
its location. Ken's Creekside is located right along Oak Creek
and affords a stunning view of the creek and its chasm as well
as the adorable "Snoopy" rock formation beyond in the
distance. Dining at Ken's or even enjoying a light snack or
beverage, may prove to be a highlight of your visit. |
